PostSubject: Mortal Kombat VS. DC   Tue Jan 13, 2009 8:22 pm

i have always been a fan of Mortal Kombat and the marvel and DC comic book superheros. when i found out that that the two were combining i fainted for a few minutes........ when i woke up i was mad to find out that it was not out for the wii and at the time that was all that i had. now with the 360 lets see how it lookd

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG! i like it Very Happy ! i like the new look the the MK cast and the stronger look to the DC side. and i never get tired of hearing the famous to word FINISH HIM! but before i go into details about the good part there is a few down sides to it. unlike other fighting games that try to force a story in the game like SSBB did or soul calibur's so called "story" mk vs dc does the story mode with flying colors. the cut scenes are wonderfully animated with spot on voice acting however the scenes can not be skipped but this is ok because you do not have to worry about a load screen before or after a fight because the loading takes place during the short video which is really smart.

the characters roster is short mad up of 11 mk and 11 dc fighters. the 11 mk fighters were but the dc side was a little dissaponting. i that that it would have more well know super heroes or bad guy. sure there is a few like superman, batman, green lantern, wonder women, and my favorite the flash. but where is aquaman my second favorite super hero or some more bad guys?

apart from the story mode is arcade mode that feels just like a normal arcade but without the pocket full of quarters. when playing the game part it has a retro feel to it. some of the special move from the old mk moves are still in like the back back x move is scorpions rope throw or down forward b is sub-zero freeze move. those move are so common that i did not know they were dubbed the noob moves by the xbox live community it was not till the end of the fight that the noob moves gave me the win Razz . all in all this was a great fighting game that i enjoyed and i say BUY IT!
