PostSubject: Family Guy Losing its Edge?   Wed Jan 21, 2009 11:56 am

Is it just me, or are the new episodes of Family Guy losing their edge? I love almost every episode from the first 3 seasons, but after the Stewie movie, things started to die out for me. Seth MacFarlane declared that he was trying to make the show even more "outrageous", but it's gotten to the point of being simply annoying. No longer is Stewie trying to take over the world, instead, he's attatched to Brian at the hip, and Peter just isn't funny like he was. Plus the show is getting might just be me, but I have a hunch I'm not the only one.

You've hit the nail on the head Cory! I've been thinking exactly the same thing. I own seasons 1 through 3 and I love them. But currently, the show has lost its sauce in humor. I will watch the new episodes from time to time, but it can only make me chuckle every once in a while. I will say, its not as bad as it sounds, but if you were to compare the new with the old chances are, the old has the new beat. I'm actually interested to know the opinions of others on this subject. But kudos Cory! You beat me to it, lol!
