That's right! They released a version at that price last holiday season. Don't know how much memory it has but that can easily be increased with SD cards. It's a great buy for those who want a PS3!

That's the size; 40 GB! And you're right, it is well worth it! You may not get as much memory in the begininng, but you can upgrade later on. Thanks for that extra insight Koopa!

Not anymore, the 80 GB is what costs $400, they discontinued the 40 GB PS3, so now it's either the 80GB at $400 or the 160 GB at $500. I personally recommend the 80 GB, it has all the same features but only 80 GB less memory, which for the $100 you would spend on that 80 GB you could get at least a 320 GB HDD. The 160 GB is limited edition and comes with Uncharted 1 also, but still not worth it imo.

So see prize wise the Ps3 and Xbox 360 are equal now
I think the pro version of the Xbox 360 was also 400 bucks
And from what I know 80 GB should be enough unless your getting 50 games and keeping all the demo downloads

Elite is $400 and it's 120 GB and the Pro is $300 and it's 60 GB. And I used up 40 in seven months, but that's with a gamefly account and keeping all of my game installs and software updates,

EDIT: Theoretically speaking, even though this is impossible at the moment. If you wanted as much memory as I have now, 320 GB, it would cost you over $400 dollars for the 360, lol. And I spent $100 on my new HDD, that's crazy, just had to throw that random fact out there.

I think the Pro with 60 GB is just fine. I've downloaded plenty of DLC for GTA, Fallout, Bioshock, etc, and still have plenty of room to spare. Of course, there's all sorts of little games you can get off of Live, but even so...you'd need quite a bit to exceed 60 GBs. Save $100 man.

Anyways I think the PS3 is way better specially with all the new exclusive games to come that were annonced at E3.

I still lean towards the PS3, although I still really want all of the games that are exclusive to the 360, which is why I'm planning on getting a new computer, because then I get most of them anyways.
