| Cool; what'd you think of it? Besides loving it, obviously.
Last game I finished (a week ago, I think) was Q.U.B.E. Available on Steam for $15, it's awesome. Short, and very clearly drawing inspirations from the Portal franchise, but awesome all the same. And totally worth the money put in.

| Just completed Mass Effect 3 and the entire trilogy. Epic. Pure and Simple.
Now back to Skyrim, which I still haven't beaten... btw, is it really possible to beat it in the first place??

| completed a very good game Kid Icarus Uprising. every thing about this game is great. great story, great gameplay, great voice acting, and great multiplayer (if you're into multiplayer) if you have a 3DS this is a game you will need in your collection. | |

| It's actually been a couple of months now, but I've finally finished Ocarina of Time with 100% completion for the first time ever! I have to admit, finding all the Gold Skulltula's was a pain, but in the end it's probably my favorite sidequest in the entire series. Most of them are pretty simple, but some were pretty clever, and the sheer number of them you have to collect makes for an interesting challenge. I was a bit ticked that the only reward was a gold rupee though........ | |

| Infinite gold rupees. Not just one.
Also, any other reward would have been pointless. The only other way it could have turned out would have been like Okami, which had 100 stray beads to collect throughout the game. If you did manage to collect all of them, you'd get what I call "literal god mode". Your attack power increases tenfold and you get infinite health and mana. But it's useless to you because if you've gotten the stray beads, you have seen and done literally everything there is to do in the game.

| Ah....that makes a bit more sense. Live and learn.
That's a fair point, though it applies to most of the pieces of heart too. I just hoped for something that at least pretended to be more useful. It's a little annoying to get rupees when you've had a full wallet for virtually the whole game.

| Feel glad that you get a reward as tangible as that.
You know what Wind Waker's equivalent to that is?
Or, for a better known example, it's taken them until the most recent iteration of the Pokémon games for the ultimate reward for catching EVERY SINGLE POKÉMON, which is becoming more and more of a feat as the years go on, to be something that actually affects gameplay. Before, you would get nothing but a virtual certificate; a pat on the back for doing the professor's busywork. In Black 2 and White 2, you get an item that significantly increases the chance of seeing shiny pokémon.

| I'm inclined to agree with you on the rupee thing Smashed...although I enjoyed doing the Gold Skulltula quest just for the fun of it. When I received my first gold rupee, it literally went to waste because my wallet was full, and it had been forever. I mean, they really give you very few things to spend rupees on in the first place; outside of mini games.
@Roy- So that's what you get for getting the pearls in Okami! I guess I don't really feel that bad about never having accomplished that. Btw, what were you referring to with your Wind Waker comment? The Nintendo Gallery? When I recently played and completed every console Zelda in chronological order at 100% each, that was the only sidequest I didn't complete...though not for lack of trying. It just took WAY too long, plus I believe you have to start taking pictures immediately after you get the color pictobox in order to get 100%.

| Yes, the Nintendo Gallery. The ultimate sidequest, which rewards you with another figurine upon completion and nothing else. | |

| OH MY GOD!
What a slap in the face...I spent hours taking three photos, warping to Forest Haven, switching wind direction, giving him one picture, playing the sun's song twice, then giving him another picture, then playing sun's song twice more, then giving him another picture, then playing sun's song two more times, just to leave and do it all over again, and I wasn't even HALF WAY DONE with the gallery. Thank god I stopped. No 100% completion is worth that.

| Ok just finished the God of War Trilogy. 3 is by far the best one. I was going to move to the spin off ones but I'm going to take a break and go to gravity rush and see how that game is. | |

| 3's the best? Really? That's interesting. Like I said, I have 2 sitting on my shelf, and I really liked the first one, so I guess I'll have to add that to my to-do list in gaming.
Also, I just finished Demon's Souls, which was a fantastic game...now on to Dark Souls!

| Just completed God of War: Chains of Olympus. I know this game was made for the PSP when it first came out but this is by far the shortest and easiest God of War game so far. One God of War game left....yea?? | |

| Well, since I forgot to update this earlier, I've beaten Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, and returned to my Zelda Marathon. Since my younger brother was ribbing me about beating the game with only seven hearts, I went ahead and beat Link's Adventure again. My final status was three games overs (one of which was actually a save) with only six hearts. So, yeah, I'm feeling pretty good .....at least until I get back to my Majora's Mask challenge, anyway. | |

In Black 2 and White 2, you get an item that significantly increases the chance of seeing shiny pokémon. Huh, I dont know how I missed this earlier. Sorry about that guys. Anyway, I actually said I enjoyed the quest, just because it was fun. I just felt that the rupees were a bit of a let-down, especially since there really wasn't all that much to spend them on. It wasnt that big of a deal, but I kind of wish that they'd put a piece of heart, or something similar there instead. I agree with Roy that it wouldn't really matter much by that point, gameplay wise, but it would have felt a lot more rewarding. Heck, just switching around some of the prizes would have worked. It's true that there are a bunch of other games that make the same mistake or worse, but that's not really the point. I just felt it could have been handled better. Anyway, all that said, I still think I'm going to try for the figurines on Wind Waker, despite the less than awesome reward. Let's see how long I last. [/rambling]
