Amaterasu in Marvel vs Capcom 3

This is beyond amazing....and probably the only reason I would ever consider purchasing this game.

I guess so. I'm not huge into marvel stuff, so this franchise never really sparked my interest. But now that Amaterasu is going to be in it I may have to change that. Is Dante from DMC in it as well?

Not sure. I hadn't payed it much attention either. I just saw that RSS article when I woke up. Out of 15 new posts, that was what I zeroed in on. Even the video makes it look like it's everything I wanted (and made everyone aware that I wanted) from her as a fighting game character, but more. It seems like she'll have the ability, like Megaman Volnutt in TvC, to switch between her three main physical attacks, which, transcends what I had written up by such a magnitude…I mean, if I had thought of that, I don't think I could've finished writing up a character design doc for her in the first place.

This game will be awesome no doubt. If I get back in gaming I will definitly pick this gem up for sure. bounce

I'm really looking forward to this game I'm sure they already have the full list of fighters that will be in the game I hope that venom and or carnage for marvel make it in and zero and or wesker make it in for capcom that would be great. As far as amaterasu goes I don't know much about the okami game but after reading roys post and watching the video she seems like a very powerfull and diverse fighter. I just wounder what does her 2nd ultra suppose to do?

Remind me to record/show Okami to you. But just imagine the wolf sections of Twilight Princess for the entire game in a beautiful cel-shaded art style and you get a magic paintbrush. That, by the way, is what I'm gonna guess will be her second ultra. One of the brush attacks, I think, could be used as a super powerful thing. Hard to say, though.
