Pit and LINK have much in common. Both wield bows (and blades), and fire said bows with their left hands. Both have shields (and Mirror Shields in their series, although only Pit uses his). Both have dark forms in Brawl. Similar hair styles and eye colors also add on to their similarities. Whether this was deliberate is not known. Both also have very similar slashes. In addition, Pit's On-Screen Appearances is very similar the one Link had in the first Super Smash Bros.
