Man, it's been a long time since I even thought about the NES we have (Which still works (barely)). I really grew up on the SNES, but the NES was still fun to play from time to time (until some games broke, esp. LoZ which would restart the game every time I got near the second Ganon )
Here are some games I like, but like Waaar, it's been a long time since I played, so I don't really remember a lot of them.
5: SOLSTICE: Since a lot of you probably don't know this game) Solstice is basically a giant maze, where you have to find all six staff pieces to defeat the evil wizard. The catch? Some genius decided the best way to hide the piecies was inside the evil wizard's castle (naturally ), so you have to avoid his monsters and traps with four potions (Once stops time, another destroys all enemies, another reveals invisible things, and I don't remember what the other did) It was actually pretty fun.
4:Mario Bros: Despite the wretched, wretched hammer bros I really enjoyed it, even if it's younger cousin was better IMO.
3: METROID - Does anyone besides me love the Metroid series? Normally, I like games to have some story, which Metroid doesn't really do, except a small thing in the instructions, but I love how challenging it is, and trying to find all the missle containers and energy tanks. The series has gotten a lot better since the original came out, but I still enjoy every now and again....
2: Mario Bros III - Personally, I like the 3rd better than the first. I loved all the new monsters and items.....I also really enjoyed killing that goomba so I could steal his shoe, lol!
And last, but not least -
The Legend of Zelda (Why does she always get all the credit?! ) - I loved exploring all the levels and finding the heart containers.....mostly (putting stuff under bushes was cheating!!!! )

I'm a Mario Lover, so it's gotta be-
5. Tetris 4. Mario Bros 2. 3. Zelda: A Link to the Past 2. Super Mario bros. 1. Super Mario bros. 3, a real classic, and one of the best games ever made.
In all honesty, I was so young when I played a lot of NES games that I hardly remember a lot of them(and yes, I'm too cheap to buy them on the VC), but these are the ones that have stayed with me since my early days, particularly Mario bros. 3.
Oh, and that Mario 3 speed video was unbelieveable....how anyone could master that game so flawlessly is beyond me...
