So, I can't believe a topic hasn't been made about this, what's your thoughts and opinions of his career, life, anything really? Personally I think he may have made some pour life choices, but you can't deny his musical acomplishments, 5 singles hitting number one on the same album, that's amazing! And his death just weeks before he was going to start his final tour and first in over 10 years, it's a shame.

I think its sad. To be honest, despite the flak he recieved throughout his life, I honestly think he revolutionized the music culture. He is known as the King of Pop for a reason and it should be recognized even after death. Poor decisions or not, I hope his soul rests in peace. My heart goes out the family. That is all.

Eddie Murphy's career is already dead so why he doesn't follow it to the grave is a mystery to me.
I think it's sad that MJ is dead, he was young, it was unexpected. But the to-do that people are making over this is ridiculous. Did anyone know there was a bus stop shooting yesterday? No, because instead of reporting the news, the news channels were covering the Apollo Theater tribute. Yes, he was a great artist, and I think the saddest part of his death is that he was always a spectacle during his life, and he's remaining a spectacle in death. Give the spotlight a rest, people.

Completely agreed True. Micheal Jackson was a great artist no doubt...he revolutionized music, and african-american entertainment. But the amount of time devoted to him on the news, especially on 24/7 news outlets is laughable. People are being masacred in Iran, North Korea is planning to launch missiles and perhaps even war, Obama is overhauling the health care system, and what do we see? A tour of the MJ exibit at some museum in L.A!
Legendary, yes. This important? No. Sadly I don't think this non-stop news cycle will be ending anytime soon. The news networks will be all over the kids' custody battle, and the fight over Jackson's assets. I fear this will go on long after MJ is put to rest.

Ditto guys. It's sad, but there are some other minor details that might possibly be worth reporting

Well now the doctors and Michael's crazy dad claim that "foul play" was involved in the death...AND Michael's crazy doctor claims that there's a distinct possibility that he's the father of MJ's kids. Crazy right? You can expect to see tons more of this on the news for the next few months...
