LittleBigPlanet or [LBP] is a puzzle platformer/ world creation game.In LittleBigPlanet, players control small characters nicknamed either "Sackboy" or "Sackgirl" because of the material they are made from.Players can navigate their way through the world by jumping, pushing, grabbing, running to overcome numerous puzzles provided by the game's robust physics engine. Players will also face physics-based enemies ranging from the small such as burning logs, to big "bosses" built a round one of six AI "brains" available in the player's toolset.
-I will bring videos and screenshots.

sounds pretty cool, but from what i hear, it's PS3 only...which totally sucks!
Still, everyone's been talking about this game, it's caused a lot of hype...the commercials look awesome as well...KIND of makes me want to buy a PS3, but not really...lol

Lol I see. This game isn't all hype though, its going to be very epic.Perhaps the best "world creation" game of all time.Sadly it is ps3 only, I'm lucky I have one! . But if you do happen to get a ps3, LBP is a must.

I wonder how it compares to that 'Spore' game though...everyone's making a HUGE deal about that game...I see adds everywhere, and I've heard it is revolutionary in terms of it's options for world/genetic creation.

LBP is aesome. I've had it since Christmas and it's really fun. It's boring if you're by yourself, but if you got friends, it's really REALLY fun. If you don't have online, you can be done with it in a week or so cuz it's short, but online there are a ton of awesome levels to play. Also, my Sackboy looks like a zombie dressed up for a wedding

I've seen videos and stuff, but what exactly do you do? It looks like a platformer where you just run around in some funky world with friends and build stuff...which looks cool enough, but am I missing something??

The more I see of this game, the more I feel I need to play it. I love the option to build your own custom levels and share them with people online. This is the boost the platforming genre needed to stay alive, and a great technique on Sony's part.
I believe this is the title which started their "Play, Create, Share" genre of games, which really seems to be the wave of the future. Can't wait to play this some day.

I like it, some of the online levels people make are simply amazing, the only problem with this game is how much playing online sucks. Created levels take a very long time to load, and there's quite a bit of lag most of the time, although that's a lot better than it was. It's very fun to play though, really hard to create levels, but really really fun.

Well, I love the idea of creating levels. SSBB tried it, and failed pretty badly in my opinion...and from the sound of it, it seems pretty complex...it would have to be if it were that hard. In my opinion, the more complex the better. It's a shame the lag gets in the way though....here's hoping for a sequel soon, hm?

I've yet to buy this game but I have played it at a friends' house. It reminds me of Mario for some reason but I like it! It is very complex and has a lot of different options and features to choose when creating a level so it will not dissapoint if you're into customization.
Glad to see you're interested in this game Cory. Hopefully you'll be able to buy a PS3 in the near future. When you do, let me know so that I can give you a list of the best games I highly recommend out there. Remember, a list from me is like a sought out autograph from an idol so don't pass it up
