A great system.

When I turned 12 my parents bought me a Playstation 2 for my birthday. It was probably the best gift I have ever recieved. Throughout the years my brother was the one who would always get video games. And I was sort of left out. When I opened up the gift box and saw a playstation2 I was so happy, and I played it non-stop.

To be honest, playstation 2 is the best system. All of my favorite games are all for the ps2. Yes, I liked playing N64... but I've always liked more serious games (serious graphics, serious storyline) and I think ps games have those qualities. For example Final Fantasy X was like nothing I had ever played before (years of playing nintendo games), the story was beautiful, the game play was awesome, and the graphics were great. I also loved the Silent Hill series, Resident Evil series, and the Xenosaga series.. all of those games listed above were way more fun to play (imo) than any other nintendo game.

Another thing I love about the Ps2 is that it can play DVDs and CDs. To this day I still use my Ps2 as a DVD player.

The PS2 won the last console war, and for good reason! It had games that appealed to all audiences, not just the shooter-fanatics on Xbox, or the younger audience on Gamecube. It had shooters, RPGs, adventure games, sports games, racing..etc....All consoles have those things of course, but the PS2 had the good ones. There were truly some memorable games on the PS2...games I'll never forget, and it's certainly one of my favorite consoles of all time.

PLus the PS2 was still the system that was the most used in 2008 , I think it won the poll with 37% of majority

Wow! That's crazy Waaar! Ps2 had a 37% majority in 2008? So more people were playing the ps2 than the ps3, wii, and xbox360? That's insane... I guess that proves my point, Ps2 is the best system out there.
