What does everyone think it will be like??
I have high hopes for it to be better than the first and with linkin park doing the music for most of the movie its sure to be an impressive sound track.

I'm really excited for this movie! Being a transformers fan, it'd be a shame to pass this one up. I will admit that the first one could've been better but have high hopes for this one.

Spot on Sano! I'm also a Transformers fan! I collect the figures and grew up on them when I was a kid! G1 (Generation 1) was what started it all. This may be off topic, but are you familar with Beast Wars?
Anyway, I for one will be watching the movie when it comes out. I liked the first one and have high hopes for the second one. Can't wait to see what's in store!

Yessir! Collected every single one of them too. I loved the show and makes me wonder if they'll have any of the characters in the movie.
That'd be awsome Chaos! I'd like to see what your thoughts are once the movie comes out!

I wish I could share your excitement guys...but as long as Shia Lebouf(or however the hell you spell his name) is in Transformers, I won't be seeing it...that guy just pisses me off.
The girl is pretty damn hot though....

Shia can be dumb at times but that's not why I'm going to see the movie. Robots vs. Robots is what I want to see, other than that, I could care less who is in the movie as long as it has a solid story and great acting.

Exactly! Knowing Michael Bay, this movie is just bound to have alot of them!

This sums up Micheal Bay perfectly...
Oh, and I heard the new Transformers wasn't as good as the first one...although I also heard that Micheal Bay DID improve the explosions....wait to go Micheal.

That was a funny vid and I'll agree to that about Bay, haha!
As for the movie: I went to see it on Wednesday and found it to be alot better than the first one. I honestly think it's well worth the money if you're looking for some fun viewing. Despite the reviews it's getting from critics, not to mention the ridiculous accusations of racism, this movie is definitely a summer movie you don't want to miss! For those wondering about the movie (this does not include those with no interest), do yourselves a favor and ignore any review and just watch the damn thing. The reviews are horribly way off as critics these days don't know what they speak of.

haha, I just watched Transformers and yeah, it was OK. Not great but at the same time, not horrible...Just me and my friends were thinking, "wow, they must be running out of ideas though cos they are just taking plots from all the best movies and putting them together" We thought this because:
Spoiler:
1) That girl who was really a robot is just copying the T-X 2) They mentioned something about a 'Matrix' 3) The Fallen was able to take control of the army's tanks - Magneto anyone? 4) and another one I can't remember but yeah, what's up with that? lol

I agree, it was ok, I really didn't like it that much, although all of my friends thought it was "beyond amazing," their actual words. It wasn't as good as the first one, and really wasn't that good at all, just found it blah. Although the twin robots were FUNNY, one of the few high points from the movies. It seemed like they really wanted a lot of humor in the movie, weird for an all about action movie and director.

I thought it was kinda strange about the amount of humour put into the movie. I thought that there weren't enough jokes to make Transformers 2 into a properly funny film but at the same time there were too many jokes to stop the movie from becoming a serious or action film.
Spoiler:
Also, what's up with that fact that the movie was about 2 and a half hours long but the final battle between Optimus Prime and the Fallen only took like 4 minutes and was more of a beat-down rather that a fight? It's a huge climax spiralling up into a massive anti-climax disappointment...
man...I could really be a movie critic

Yeah, the humor to action ratio really threw the movie sort of out of whack, didn't work for me.
