one of the best games announced by ubisoft at E3 was Assassin's Creed 2! in an interview with the creator he revield that in this thing every thing is new and different the only thing that will be the same is your still going through Desmond Miles. in fact the first screen that you see in AC2 is the last one from AC1. also in stead of one hidden blade you have 2 for double the killing and one can be shot like a bullet. to see more check out the videos

This looks absolutely stunning, and from what I've heard, the story is different from the first AC, so you don't have to play the first one to play the second, which is good for me(although I've heard the first is very good).
Any ideas on a release date?

This game looks incredible and as with the first one I am deeply interested in it even though I don't own a PS3 or 360. In reference to the first video on jody's post - the setting does look really nice and realistic as I never noticed the ledges at the party until *newAltair* (didn't catch his name) used them. BUt to be honest, it seems a little unrealistic that *newAltair* is friends with Da Vinci and uses his inventions. Also, smoke bombs in Renaissance Italy? In reference to the second video - It looks pretty cool how *newAltair* paid two women to get the attention of that man and how they suddenly disappeared. Shame the main 'villain' wasn't seduced by one of the women. I love how they added in masked balls because that used to be (and may still be) huge in Italy but I was a little disappointed how *newAltair* didn't simply dress up and put a mask on to blend in. That would've probably been a much smarter thing to do...The chase seemed simply like a huge game of par cour but I guess that was what Ubisoft were getting at. And it was extremely interesting about what that main villain was saying about *newAltair*'s father and then mother. Also, did *newAltair* simply kill the villain with a hidden gun? If so, how many hidden weapons does he have welded into him? Two hidden blades, a hidden gun, what's next? A hidden A-bomb? Getting back to the point if it was a gun then surely that makes assassinating a whole lot easier if you don't even need to be near them... Any way, that's my thoughts on the first two videos and yeah I probably anylase WAY too much, especially for a game that I'll probably never get...unless of course I can be bothered to wait for a three month late PC release combined with a five month late European release...
