Which game to get?

Well my Bday is coming in about 6 weeks or soand soon people will be asking me what I want for my Bday. Again this year Im not sure what I should ask for but I kinda want a few ps3 games so i was wondering if you guys could help me a bit by giving a few tips on what I should ask for.

Personnally I dont want all the games to be the same kind (i.e all shooters or foghters, etc)
So yeah if you guys can help me by giving me some matches on what to ask for in a mix game sets it would be great

I wasnt much into the PS2 games
after the snes system I started playing more PC games until this generation of consoles
