The Walking Dead

So I'm going to wager that I'm not the only person on FTW who's watching The Walking Dead on AMC, since it's such a HUGELY popular show now. So who else is into it? What do you think of the second season so far?

Personally I think it's pretty good, although I'm not sure about the reality of some of the decisions the group is making, like letting kids go Zombie hunting (only to get shot, lol) and the drame going on with Shane and Andrea. And who else wants that bald hillbilly woman to die?!?
Besides that, I'm really into the series so far. Loved the Zombie heard scene in the first episode, very tense...

dude i have been watching it but i always miss it when its on tv. so ive only seen the first 2 episodes of the second series by using on demand. ive seen the whoole first season and loved it. i didnt feel too bad when the kid got shot though, i mean seriously, why in gods name would they allow the kid to go with them in the first place?! sometimes the decisions they make are bad and stupid. but hey, some people out there must like it if they keep doing it xD

I totally agree, it was idiotic that they let him go with, but then again, people are always stupid in horror movies and shows..still, I didn't feel sad, but I did feel shocked! I keep missing it too, since I usually work Sunday nights, so I missed 2 but I did see ep. 3. You need to see it bro, BIG twist at the end that will probably shock you more than the kid getting shot.

Which episode has been your favorite so far?

well my favorite episode in the whole show is when they are escaping the building but they leave the one racist red nack guy behind. but in season 2, the part where they go to the school to get the supplies is pretty kool.

Don't know if you guys have still been watching this...next episode on tonight, and it looks pretty interesting. Rumors have been going around that Myrle might pop up, which would really disturb the relative "harmony" of the farm. Also saw helicopters flying in the preview, which may mean the Government is still functioning in some way. Should be a good episode, especially after last weeks rather dull story...

hey guys have you seen this show about zombies? i think its called The Walking Dead. Its good i just started watching it yesterday on netflix. Yes i'm late to the party but better late than never right?

Oh man, it's about darn time! you better play catch up man...second half of season 3 starts up Febuary 10th, and there's a hell of a lot to talk about!!!

ok im 3 episodes in and i already hate Rick's 'wife' also does it every mention what happen to cause things to get the way it was? or how long he was in a comma?

EDIT #2: ok i finished up the first season and i have a few grips about it. mainly the last one. First off Rick you're in Georgia no one says 'soda pop'. second i believe that the ending was a little much. surely the CDC has better technology they would not resort to burning/blowing up the entire building especially since any deadly virus would be stored in a vacuum sealed contaminate free zone even if power is lost a virus would not spread out of that zone.

EDIT #3: I change what i said about Lori i hate Shane more now. Also where is every one now? im ready to talk about it and everyones gone. Also im getting tired of every single episode has to have them fighting. i know that this is 'end of the world' and tensions are high but come on i have seen less fights in a boxing tournament

You don't like Shane huh? Well no one really does, but I've always HATED Lori myself...she sent mixed messages to both Shane and Rick, and basically got them both to fight...but then she had the GALL to freak out at the end of the second season. Give me a freakin break!
Oh, and about the 'soda pop' thing, do keep in mind that Rick's actor is British! And plus I'm sure someone says that down there!

I did not know that interesting... yea im sure some one says it but there not from the south haha jk as far as the ending goes it was better than the ending to season 1 (still bugged by that). i now see what you guys were talking about with stupid decisions. killing a random stranger not ok if Carl sees it. killing someone they know thats ok for him to see. yes i have seen all the memes about Carl I thought that it was some joke but it all makes sense now.

So have you had a chance to see any of Season three yet? A lot of BIG things going on right now, and with the season starting back up in just a few weeks, I'm pretty darn pumped.

ok im up to date on all things walking dead just got done with the last episode. My thought... WHY CAN'T NO ONE AIM!!! oh sure use a hand gun and you hit them point blank between the eyes. Use an automatic gun and they can't even hit dirt if they where pointing down. (its this kind of stupid things that turn me off of a show) other than that i don't have that much to grip about. The jail is obviously not safe (and seem to get bigger and bigger each episode) i know that the charm of the show is Georgia but if the group does leave move out try to move out the state. Is staying in that one area that good of an idea? i guess they don't want to travel to unknown territory but if real world logic holds true if you move west you will find less population thus meaning less walkers/biters right? just my 2 bits

So how bout that finale the other night? Whatdya think??

she should of died back at the ending of season 1. i cant believe that the moved the city back to the jail. that place CLEARLY is not safe. they really need to do some fortification to the place. maybe that's why he brought the town? doubt it but it will be interesting to see. the Governor is now 100% evil and not wearing a mask anymore so there is no questioning he will be back to the jail.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was kind of surprised by that too. The Prison's totally messed up now, especially with the guard towers destroyed. Besides, why would those people even want to go to such a shit.hole, when you could live in a somewhat normal surroundings in Woodbury. And I agree about Andrea, she would have been better off dying there (and we would have too, since we wouldn't have had to deal with her BS for an entire season!). I honestly felt more sad for Milton dying than her.

What do you think the Governor can do now though? I mean, he has two freaking guys who are terrified of him and they're just driving around (road trip from hell lol). Maybe Carl will run away in anger and become his little apprentice...lol

well he is unstable if he could im sure he would nuke the jail haha. Carl wouldnt be his apprentice he would just simple shoot him in the face several times then defend his actions by saying he deserved it like the last guy he killed.
