*Dead Space: Extraction Discussion Thread*

EA has just announced that Dead Space for Wii will not be a direct port of the 360 game, instead, it will be a completely new and original game designed specifically for the wii...here's an interview IGN had with the game's developer-

Personally, after playing the 360 version(I'm about half way done), I'm really excited this isn't going to be a port...I am slightly disappointed it's on rails though...seems like that could really damage the atmosphere of the game, and it just seems unnecessary...why do developers think the wii must be degraded to on-rails games? Sigh...still looks good though.

So this is gonna be something like house of the dead then? If it is Im gonna wait on voting on the poll cuz I might not get it. specially if its only 1 person. I just hope there gonna put new videos of the gameplay actually at least soon. When was the game coming out again?

Actually, from what I read in the interview, it will feature 2 player online co-op play...which should be pretty amazing....and a lot of people have compared it to House of the Dead, which is cool...

But I'm playing the 360 one now, which is a lot like RE4 in controls...and while on-rails might be fun online, I'd prefer the RE4 style...
