I don't want anyone to miss some of the great upcoming titles on the Wii, so I'm compiling a list of promising Wii titles on the horizon. Click on each game to link to a trailer.
Games looking sexy: Punch Out!!, Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Final Fantasy CC: TCB, Sin and Punishment 2, A Boy and His Blob, Monster Hunter 3, Little King's Story, Arc Rise Fantasia, Fragile.
Wow, what a list...certainly look a hell of a lot better than the shovel-ware-filled IGN release date list...
Sexy games? Final Fantasy: Crystal Bearers Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Murumasa: Demon Blade The Conduit Little King's Story Arc Rise Fantasia Dead Space: Extraction No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle Fragile(is this coming to the U.S.?) Tales of Graces
Games I'm still weary about: Cursed Mountain ( I need to see more) RE: Darkside Chronicles Pikmin 3 (I only played the others a bit) Sin and Punishment 2(i'msure it will be good, but I want more info )

While Namco has decided that their interest in publishing Fragile in the US is minimal, it can still be picked up and localized by another publisher. XSEED games has mentioned interest in publishing the title in North America, and this is very good news. So far XSEED has brought over Rune Factory Frontier, and in the future they are publishing Arc Rise Fantasia, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Little King's Story in our region. When IGN contacted XSEED about it, they said: "Officially, can't really say much, but it looks amazing. It is something that we are interested in, but that's pretty much all we can say right now."
Honestly, sounds like a "Yes" to me.
Oh, and here's something I'm almost 75% certain of, and I'm calling it RIGHT NOW. Wii is going to be getting an exclusive Grand Theft Auto game and we're going to be hearing about it relatively soon. I could be wrong, after all there is that 25%, but when it DOES get announced, thank me for filling you in early.
Well hopfully XSEED will pick it up..it would be a wonderful addition to my Wii library...the radiant music...the melancholy atmosphere...just about everything in this game looks phenomenal..I'll keep my fingers crossed.
I also wouldn't mind seeing a GTA for Wii. I think it would fit very nicely, and that motion controls would work well...I also think that graphical issues shouldn't be a problem, as GTA has never been a game of superb graphics.
I think I should mention that Muramasa lost XSEED as it's publisher. Ignition Entertainment will be publishing Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and their hoping for release in September.
As far as I'm concerned, this is a pretty good thing. I just picked up Excitebots, Punch Out!! is coming in May, Little King's Story and the Conduit are releasing on the same day in June, and the Wii Motion+ comes out in July. So that gives me a break in August (maybe) and then Muramasa in September.
Yes, that's true...however it seems many of the games I'm looking forward to like Bioshock 2, Bayonetta, End of Eternity, Dead Space, RE, Silent Hill, and others are coming out around that time, so I'm really going to be swamped....which isn't always a bad thing...it just means making some critical decisions. 2009 is certainly a busy year...

DUDE! next to the conduit I AM SOOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS GAME!!! if you have not got the game on the VC and you just happen to have 12$ that is gathering dust i STRONGLY recommend that you get the first one. also i will have a news thread for this game.
and about the GTA for the Wii that will be great the only GTA game that nintendo has ever seen is only been on the hand held games (GTA: advance for GBA and GTA: Chinatown Wars DS) a GTA for a home system WILL BE EPIC!!! or will be as long as they do not mess it up but i do not think that rock star studio will mess you there own game.
A Wii GTA would be cool no doubt...but how would it be any different than GTA4? They couldn't offer anything super new to the series, save for motion control...and I doubt the world could be as large as 4's...so while I think it would be good for the system, I'm not sure it would hold my attention any more than GTA4 did.
