Microsoft's E3 presentation is over, and while there were a TON of reveals today, perhaps the biggest and most shocking of them all lies in a project known simply as "Natal".
This plan basically takes Nintendo's motion control idea and takes it a few steps further, by incorporating complete body motion, voice recognition, and so much more.
A video-
More as it comes in.

I guess Im a bit late to report this one huh? Well I gotta let you know this is one that really got my attention and i would like to have one like this on the wii, I think it fits the wii better then the Xbox. But Im not sure if the hardcore Xbox players will bother buying this

But that's the point, they want to take the advantage of the Wii...that's why the PS3 has it's own motion controller! Motion controls just won't be exclusive to Wii anymore, and it also seems that motion controls will take a far less "casual" tone, especially on the 360. Imagine playing Street Fighter or Halo with Natal's hardware....the possibilities are truly endless....I swear, this is the future of gaming, mark my words...

Probably but I dont think it will have such a huge impact on these systems. Probably on the next generation it will but not these.
Anyone that owns a wii knows that motion sensor alone is not enough to make a game good by itself, you need more then just sensor. It might be good for some games and for a few hours but not enough to hiold the hardcore fans. Plus I think the PS2 already had something like that (the eye I think) like a camera kinda think that focused on your body and body part. I remember playing it and you need a big place to be able to play it correctly and enough light. if is still the same then I dont think these will be good for alot of people. Plus it will make more noises for people who need to jump and all.
the video makes it looks so great and yet they did not show any of what was in the video during the conferences. now dont get me wrong i like the idea and all i just hope it works like what the video shows
Personnaly I dont think it will work as good as that at least not yet Thats why they didnt show it remember the wii when it was first announced and it looked so good and all but then when your playing fast and all it doesnt work as good as in the videos

I don't know Waaar...it certainly won't be perfect right away, but they'll learn from all of Nintendo's mistakes, which will almost instantly put them at an advantage. But at the same time, Wii Motion Plus will be hitting the scene soon...will it be enough to compare to Natal's voice recognition and camera? Probably not...but the playing field will be awfully close...
