is anyone into the new mario baseball

I never played the first one...was it any good? mario doesn't seem like the baseball type to me...then again, i can't see him playing Basketball or Soccer either...lol

you can say im a fan when it comes to that kind stuff. I play NFL and all the time and it gets boring just playing sports games without a "tweek".
but yea the game was good hard as hell to beat but good ( now i hit constint home runs, even with baby mario once). but yea its a good game

i like the baseball game it may not be as good as kart but its good to me

true mario kart is better

1.Presentation-How does the game look and feel? Are the menus clean? Is it easy to understand? The game's look is some of the best ive seen for Mario games. It has wonderful looking play fields, however the fields were some times overpowering and killed every opportunity to catch the ball like on Peach's field with the icebergs. it's easy to understand, and navigating to different modes is simple! i gave it- 9.2

2.Graphics- Are the graphics as good as they should have been? Are they good for the system, and time period in which they were made?
The Graphics hit the mark perfectly! the short clips ran really smooth. you could see the lines in cut by lawn mowers on Mario stadium. i gave it- 9.7

3. Sound- How is the voice acting? Is the music any good? Are the sounds just plain annoying? the music is quite enjoyable it changes periodically making not so annoying. The sounds are not to bad. they are fluent with the game making least annoying as possible. i gave it a 8.3

4. Gameplay- Is it easy to play and to learn? Were the controls clunky or smooth? How are they in comparison to other games? it is really is to control, however very sensitive. move slightly while being distracted and it starts charging a pitch or swing. Special moves are easy to hit with. Compared to wii sports baseball its slightly harder only because they've got way more into aiming and moving around. it got 9.9

5. Lasting Appeal- How long is this game good for? Will it take you a long time? Is it worth replaying? Naturally, you want a game you'll keep on playing! well after beating challenge mode (taking about a week to beat) by then you've unlocked all characters, then there is still many things you've got to do such as every character has get there star and MVP. 8.4

****OVERALL SCORE---each category should get a score of 1 through 10. After you've given a score for all 5 categories, average them out for a complete score.

EXAMPLE:
Presentation- 9.2
Graphics- 9.7
Sound- 8.3
Gameplay- 9.9
Lasting Appeal- 8.4
OVERALL SCORE- 9.4

Well Pugs I never played the game so I cant vote there u should have put another option saying never played or never saw it!

yeah very good reveiw pugs I'm impressed by this especially as its the first one! you've practically talked me into buying mario sluggers except i'm not much of a baseball fan...

What I'm wondering about, hoever, is the game's ack of an online mode...how do you feel about that??
