I can't believe that no one has made this topic yet! We've only had this site for a little over a year.....lol!
Anyway, this threadi s for telling us what your movies are, and if you feel like it, why they're your favorite.
I'm not really sure about my top ten....Lord of the Rings and Star Wars (original trilogy) are the two best IMO.....I really liked The Incredibles. There are a ton to chose from!
Oh, has anyone else seen "The Fugitive"? We just watched this Sunday and it was extremely good! If you haven't seen it you're really missing something!

The Last Samurai...a true classic, and a fine choice.
My list?? I can't put it in any order, there are simply too many movies I like, and I know I'll forget some...here's a list off the top of my head.
The Matrix (1st one only!) The original Star Wars Trilogy Indiana Jones Trilogy Dumb & Dumber Schindler's List Saving Private Ryan The Untouchables The Godfather Citizen Kane Lord of the Rings Trilogy Shrek The Sixth Sense Die Hard Speed Lost in Translation No Country for Old Men All Miyazaki Films Ratatouille Wall-E The Incredibles Nacho Libre Kung Foo Panda The Dark Knight Last Samurai Hero The Patriot
Alright, that list is already too long, and I'm sure I'm leaving out a bunch!

Can't believe I forgot this one!
It's an older comedy called Support your Local Sheriff. It's hilarious! I'd advise watching to clip to about 3:00 minutes, and if you like it, you can start from the beginning here ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.])

Meh Avatar is overrated Didnt see what was so great about it. It's almost as the walt disney classic Pocahontas. Only thing it's "3d" (which could have been WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better) and its a movie in space. But the story and romance is almost the same.

Actually, Avatar more closely rips off Dances With Wolves, but I more or less agree with what you're saying. Now for my own list, though I hope you'll pardon me having several films listed here (which is in no particular order), because I count them all as 'one' film:
1) Batman (1989) 2) The Nightmare Before Christmas 3) Ghostbusters 4) Back to the Future trilogy 5) Pan's Labyrinth 6) Evil Dead trilogy 7) A Nightmare on Elm Street (original) Godzilla (1954) 9) Pulp Fiction 10) Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Close contestants: Donnie Darko, The Incredibles, Up, Clerks, Aliens, Terminator 2: Judgment Day
